We are offering workshops in beautiful hidden spaces throughout Victoria. These workshops have been created for both city dwellers wanting to escape to the country for a creative weekend away amongst beautiful surroundings as well as for the locals of the towns where we will be hosting workshops. We offer a number of packages for life-drawing workshops developed for the creative industries. Our workshops create a relaxed environment with plenty of time for socialising in between life-drawing sessions. Short collaborative exercises are offered over formal tutoring to keep the atmosphere loose and remove all pressure of trying to impress each other with masterful artworks. The emphasis is on rediscovering the fun of the creative process. The photo here is one of a series of workshops we did at Space Furniture in Melbourne for their interior design industry clients.
On Tuesday nights we have our regular casual life drawing class on the mezzanine at 18 Piper street Kyneton. The cost per class is $20 and includes 2 hours with a model, basic materials and refreshments. The class is untutored and poses range from 1 to 20 minutes. A warm environment is provided with music and lovely lighting.
Life-Drawing events hosted in the wineries in the Macedon Ranges are soon to come. Enjoy sampling some wines as you get your hands dirty with your charcoals.
Regional communities are full of artists, some of whom enjoy life drawing. Some of the more remote communities don't have access to models in order to be able to conduct regular life drawing sessions. We have thought to combine our passion for life-drawing with our love of exploring the countryside of Australia in our life-model roadshows. We will be traveling through different regions of Victoria, offering a number of life-drawing packages to communities to suit their class style preference - from only a model for an untutored drawing session to structured tutored lessons focusing on improving technique.
We run a monthly class at the Lyonville Town Hall: the first Wednesday of the month. Classes happen to coincide with the Judders Bar food truck so locals and those from nearby towns can make a fun evening of it with dinner and art.
We provide models for high school Art and Textile classes for student's folios. For these art classes, models can be nude or clothed and are supervised by the teacher. For textile classes our models will provide a number of costume changes as arranged with the teacher.
